A customized Kalman filtering algorithm in the cloud smooths out raw telemetry coordinates to accurately match roads and backyards.
Traditional relational databases choked under the massive constant writes of location pings.
InfluxDB, an optimized time-series database, handles heavy telemetry write loads, while PostgreSQL is retained solely for static user profiles.
